Adam is a chartered accountant and has been Chief Executive Officer of Manor Group Investments for the past 17 years, until forming KPV in early 2017.
During his time at Manor Group Investments Adam created the Own your Own village concept.
Manor Group has been a major player in the aged care services sector in the Bay of Plenty for 30 years. The founder of Manor Group originated Greenwood park, the first retirement village in New Zealand, and Manor Group has at various times owned and operated a number of resthomes, hospitals and retirement villages in Tauranga, Whakatane and Thames.
During Adam’s time as CEO, Manor Group operated Cedar Manor Hospital, Accadia Manor Hospital, Mary Shapley Hospital and Tararu Hospital. He has also developed the Cedar Manor Estate Village (53 units), Greerton Oaks (22 units), Greerton Gardens (35 units) and Kempton Park Village (54 units). Currently under development are Roseland Park Village (54 units), Woodcroft Estate (78 units) and Waterford on Hobsonville (154 units).
Adam is a past board member of the Resthome Association of NZ.
Since establishing KPV Adam has developed our Next Generation retirement village model where the resident gets to keep their capital gain, plus our facilities fee is significantly less than most retirement villages.
