Adam Yates

Managing Director

Adam is a chartered accountant and has been Chief Executive Officer of Manor Group Investments for the past 17 years, until forming KPV in early 2017.

During his time at Manor Group Investments Adam created the Own your Own village concept.

Manor Group has been a major player in the aged care services sector in the Bay of Plenty for 30 years. The founder of Manor Group originated Greenwood park, the first retirement village in New Zealand, and Manor Group has at various times owned and operated a number of resthomes, hospitals and retirement villages in Tauranga, Whakatane and Thames.

During Adam’s time as CEO, Manor Group operated Cedar Manor Hospital, Accadia Manor Hospital, Mary Shapley Hospital and Tararu Hospital. He has also developed the Cedar Manor Estate Village (53 units), Greerton Oaks (22 units), Greerton Gardens (35 units) and Kempton Park Village (54 units). Currently under development are Roseland Park Village (54 units), Woodcroft Estate (78 units) and Waterford on Hobsonville (154 units).

Adam is a past board member of the Resthome Association of NZ.

Since establishing KPV Adam has developed our Next Generation retirement village model where the resident gets to keep their capital gain, plus our facilities fee is significantly less than most retirement villages.

Luke Meys

Development Manager and Director

Luke is a graduate from the Stanford University School of Business and a qualified civil engineer. In 2012 Luke was elected a Fellow of the Institution of Professional Engineers NZ. Over the course of his 35 year career in engineering and project management, he has gained experience in a wide range of building and public infrastructure development projects. This includes consulting engineering, business management and contracting.

Luke was made a Life member of the Institution of Public Works Engineering Australasia and was a Board member for 9 years. He has played an active role in wider industry leadership in the Water and Local Government engineering sectors and is known for forward thinking in governance roles on complex projects.

He was also made a Life member of the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre of New Zealand again in recognition of service as a Board member for an extended period of time.

Andrew Dallas

Marketing and Finance and Director

Andrew is a structural engineer who worked in the concrete industry for the last 20 years. Andrew was a shareholder and manager in Conslab, NZ’s largest concrete flooring subcontractor, prior to its sale to Euro Corp in 2015 and remains a shareholder in BBR Contech, a specialist contracting company.

Andrew is a past president of the NZ Concrete Association. He remains active in and well known in the New Zealand construction industry.

Andrew is active in the local community. He is a past chair of the Matahui School Board of Trustees and is currently chair of the board for the Omokoroa Community Tennis Club.
